"Farewell"Today we woke to a front yard full of men - they were there to cut down the huge tree in our front yard. I'm still sad and missing it's company. I'd spend many a day sitting under the branches having a coffee with friends or just enjoying listening to the birds and wind dancing in the branches - and we LOVE autumn with the leaves falling to the ground... Many think the leaves are troublesome, but we loved it... But the poor old tree has succumbed to burly mans chainsaws and axes today.... This is William watching on as the arborist's finishes their job this afternoon....
